Ornella Sebbane is a French speech therapist who graduated from the ULB in Brussels. 

Ornella started her career at the Erasmus Hospital in Brussels where she treated adult patients with neurological pathologies (aphasia, dysphagia, dysarthria, Parkinson’s disease…). Then, she continued her career in a private practice in Brussels which specialized in the care of patients with autism spectrum disorder. 

Back in France, she started working at the medical-psychological center for children in Menton where she took care of children with oral and/or written language disorders, or autism spectrum disorders. The multidisciplinary exercise made her practice richer and more reflective. 

Thanks to her experiences, Ornella was able to join a renowned speech therapist practice in Monaco. Her patients were children (often multilingual) with oral language disorders (speech and/or language delay), written language disorders, dyscalculia, malposition of the tongue, autism spectrum disorders etc. Parental guidance was also a good support for the transfer of learning. She also took care of adults with neurological disorders. 

Her experiences in hospitals, clinics and private practices have given her a wide range of intervention. Her main motivation is to accompany the patient and his family in a progression to see a noticeable evolution until the maintenance of autonomy.
