Dr Batut is a Pediatrician, particularly interested in general pediatrics, systematic and regular examinations of children, but also common or more severe infections, eating problems, digestive problems, the child’s respiratory, growth and development.
Sophie moved to London in 2003 after leaving Paris with her husband and four children.
Since then, she has been working at the French Medicare with a general paediatric activity. She also worked as a school doctor at the Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle from 2003 to 2006, then in 2013. Sophie resumed this activity as a school doctor in bilingual schools, Battersea School and Ecole des Petits where she conducts large section medical visits.
Before leaving Paris, Sophie shared her time between the “Centre de L’Asthme” at the Trousseau Hospital, the French association for neonatal screening (A.F.D.P.H.E.), and a consultation activity in PMI and general paediatrics.
Sophie graduated from the Faculty of Paris, Université René Descartes, Paris V, where she did the Paediatrics internship.
