Sandra Abou Zakham MD is a French Rheumatologist working in London since 2022. She has extensive international experience having worked and trained in five different countries.

 

She spent six years in France working in large teaching hospitals at Dijon and Rouen, completing her Specialist Degree in Normandie in 2020. She trained in vasculitis in the EULAR Centre of Excellence in Ireland, and in gout and osteoarthritis in both New Caledonia and New Zealand. She has trained in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound at Pierre & Marie Curie University in Paris.

Most recently, she undertook her Lupus and Connective tissue disease training from world-renowned experts at Guy’s Hospital in London as a Senior Clinical Fellow.

 

Dr Abou Zakham was awarded a research grant from the Charles Nicole Foundation, for her research project completed at both Rouen University Hospital France and University of Auckland New Zealand.

 

Her international experience gives her a unique understanding of health conditions, and allows her to combine the best of different approaches to deliver holistic care to every patient.
